Ship-To-Ship operations

The Port of Rotterdam has created special facilities to obtain Ship-to-Ship operations. Hence in specific cases it is possible to obtain a berth, buoys located midstream within the Port of Rotterdam, without being obliged to berth alongside a terminal. Thanks to considerable cost savings, such Ship-To-Ship operations are very lucrative, to the benefit of all parties concerned. Expenses depend on the time of the port stay and the quantity of cargo to be transferred.
